Voodoo Festival Takes Over NOLA’s City Park

This Halloween weekend, most people will attend the typical costume party, others will stay in for a night of Netflix, and the lucky ones will enjoy three unforgettable nights filled with music, art, and delicious food in the heart of New Orleans. This year, we’re packing our bags and making our way down south for the Voodoo Music & Arts Experience, and we couldn’t be more excited. Taking place October 28-30 in New Orleans’ historic City Park, Voodoo has all the mystery and adventure The Big Easy can conjure up for a Halloween you and your friends will never forget.

Each year Voodoo’s headlining acts draw more than 300,000 music lovers, and this year’s lineup is no exception with festival favorites like The Weeknd, Tool, Arcade Fire, Die Antwoord and more. In addition to the incredible top line acts, Voodoo’s stages will also feature a variety of local legends and freshman alike including The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Mutemath, Kevin Gates, and The Seratones. The music selection alone makes this festival a real treat, but what good is a trip to New Orleans without checking out the food, right?

If you know anything about food in America, you know there’s no place like NOLA when it comes to delicious cuisine, so we were pretty stoked when we heard about the Forked Up Food Court  that will feature some of the best dishes the city has to offer. From overflowing bowls of gumbo to various meats cooked low and slow, there will be something tasty for everyone. If vibing to The Weeknd or Gramatik as you enjoy the greatest Jambalaya you’ve ever had sounds like a good time, buy your passes here before they sell out.
