Ultra Expands Their Global Footprint to Brazil

The largest independent electronic music festival producer in the world, ULTRA Worldwide, has already established events in 18 countries, and this weekend they’ll make it 19 as they introduce themselves to Brazil. Following a successful summer games, 2016 has already been a busy year for the country, and Rio is ready to host yet another experience that will draw thousands from around the world.

Held October 14-15, ULTRA Brasil is located at the beautiful, centrally located Sambódromo Park, and its sprawling landscape will serve as the perfect setting for a weekend packed with the best in dance music. With performances by electronic music powerhouses Martin Garrix, Carl Cox, Above & Beyond, Hardwell, DJ Snake, a live set from Krewella, Steve Aoki, and many more, ULTRA Brasil is looking to make a grand entrance that will be hard to top.

Leaving a lasting impression on a country famously known for being THE party destination on the planet is a tall order. So we weren’t surprised when the organizers responded with a brand new touring set entitled RESISTANCE, showcasing the finest in house and techno alongside a slew of underground acts like Hot Since 82 and Nicole Moudaber. This week, RESISTANCE crossed through Peru, Chile, Bolivia and Paraguay, and will make its final stop at Ultra Brasil.
