Wonderfruit, Thailand’s premier festival, will take over Siam Country Club February 16-19 to celebrate art, music, and our planet’s sustainability. Originally set to take place December 2016, the four-day event was forced to postpone to observe the tragic loss of their beloved leader, King Bhumibol Adulyadej. Now that the grieving period has ended, the festival is ready to kick off another year.
This year’s Wonderfruit lineup boasts more than 60 artists from Thailand’s growing music scene and around the world. From London’s four-piece drum and bass band, Rudimental and talented singer, songwriter, Lianne La Havas to the traditional Isaan sounds of All Thidsa Band and underground house / techno from DJ Coran, there’s a plethora of music to discover.
If you’re lucky enough to attend, don’t expect a dull moment during this festival. Organizers promise an action-packed celebration complete with workshops, meditation, yoga, and much more. In between your favorite acts discover your festival style with help from Thai and international fashion designers. In addition to the activities, escape the dancing crowds and explore the art installations dispersed throughout the festival. Lastly, Wonderfruit is also a food destination that features a culinary experience curated by the best chefs, restaurants, and food trucks serving everything from European to Japanese fare.
This festival is the ultimate place for those seeking an experience that goes beyond the music, and should not be missed. If you have the means and can make it, we highly recommend purchasing your passes here.
