Deemed “America’s most unique festival,” by The Fader, FORM festival features 3 days of live music, experiential art, and interactive panels and workshops in the experimental community of Arcosanti Arizona.
Performers confirmed for 2018 include Beach House, The Black Madonna, Blood Orange, Chance the Rapper, Charli XCX, Courtney Barnett, Dirty Projectors, Fleet Foxes, Mount Kimbie, Zola Jesus, Empress Of, Jenny Hval, Saul Williams, Serpent with Feet, Sophie, Sudan Archives, and Willow Smith. Hundred Waters will also be performing, as will Skrillex, plus hundreds of other artists, poets, and social activists. With an attendee capacity of 2,000 people, FORM aims to create unique intimate experiences for its festival goers that enable personal connections and creative inspiration.
According to the festival’s organizers’, “Over 5000 people have participated in FORM Arcosanti over the past 4 years including artists like Solange, James Blake, Father John Misty, and Skrillex.” Their stated mission is “to inspire progress through creative and inclusive community experiences.” This year’s panels include the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Human Rights Campaign, Global Inheritance, and OWSLA.
“We never really intended on starting a festival. It just sort of happened, as crazy as that sounds,” Zach Tetreault, FORM founder and drummer of Hundred Waters, says. “It’s become this ever-evolving annual project that we work on and it becomes crazier and more multifaceted each year.”
