Northern California’s premier winter music festival, SnowGlobe, takes place December 29-31 against the snowy backdrop of Lake Tahoe. The three-day event promises music fans, skiers, and snowboarders a one-of-a-kind experience that fuses live music with the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains. Get ready to hit the slopes and dance beneath the open sky with the hottest acts on the scene.
The New Year’s Eve bash includes sets from The Chainsmokers, Flume, Odesza, Major Lazer, RL Grime, Big Gigantic, Lil Yachty, D.R.A.M, Whethan, Baauer, and many more across multiple stages. At SnowGlobe, and possibly nowhere else, you can hit the slopes while listening to over 50 groundbreaking artists throughout the weekend. Iconic Burning Man artist, Michael Christian, will also show his beautiful, illuminated free-spinning globe titled HOME. The sculpture is a 14-foot tall globe created from multiple layers of metal cut in the shapes of street maps from cities all around the world.
This year, the sixth annual SnowGlobe Music Festival has expanded twice the size to accommodate the growing demand, and we couldn’t be happier! Festival grounds now feature larger stages and additional art installations for everyone to peruse. But don’t expect the magical vibes of Snowglobe to get lost in translation. Festival organizers promise to maintain the same intimate and boutique festival experience that we all love.
Hit the slopes day or night, witness the epic snowboarding demos, or rage like there’s no tomorrow at one of the official Snowglobe after parties. There’s no excuse for a dull moment at this festival. Check out the full lineup below and click here to purchase tickets.
