Exodus Festival Las Vegas

Still missing Coachella? Can’t wait for EDC Las Vegas? Just want to an excuse to go to Vegas? Have no fear, because Exodus Festival in Las Vegas is happening this week starting on Thursday, May 19 thru Monday, May 23. This festival, in its seventh season, gives ticket holders (age 21 and up) access to 9 nightclubs and 6 pool parties over the weekend for over 3,000 attendees. Participating venues include Omnia, XS, Encore Beach, Hakkasan, Marquee, and Wet Republic. Still not convinced? I’ve outlined the festival schedule below…

Thursday:  RL Grime at Encore Beach • Tiesto at Hakkasan

Friday:  Adam Kyron w/ Special Guests at Liquid • Lil Jon at Hakkasan • A-Trak at Encore Beach

Saturday:  Tiesto at Wet Republic • Dash Berlin at Marquee • Martin Garrix at Omnia • Tiesto at Hakkasan

Sunday:  David Guetta at Encore Beach • Duke Dumont at Marquee • Zedd at XS • TBA at Drais

What makes this event so convenient is that by purchasing tickets ahead of time, you do not have to struggle to navigate the complicated promoter game that normally happens in Las Vegas. Your weekend plans are already laid out and your wristband guarantees entry to all of the participating venues. I would recommend being early just in case the venues hit capacity and you have to wait for people to leave to get in. Of course VIP upgrades are also available. If this is your first time experience a Las Vegas day or night club event let me give you some tips on the Vegas style code. For the day parties beachwear is required. This means cute and cool bathing suits and cover ups. Shoes are also always required when walking through the casino so don’t be the person who gets kicked out for losing their shoes! And it’s going to be hot and sunny so don’t forget sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses. At nighttime, a nightlife dresscode is enforced in the clubs. Think party outfits and comfortable shoes to ensure that you can dance for hours.

My favorite venues that are participating are Encore Beach, Omnia, and Drais. I think that these venue’s aesthetics are new and refreshing. It’s always nice when clubs try above and beyond to give guests a new and different experience beyond the music itself. Encore Beach (located at the Encore) is an indoor / outdoor venue that lets guests hang near and in the pool, around the pool, and also inside a cool covered area. There are also multiple outdoor bars and gambling areas to stand and hang out. Omnia is a multi-level venue at Caesar’s Palace and is one of the newest nightlife additions to Las Vegas, and Drais is the only rooftop pool on the strip, located at The Cromwell. Below are my must see artists of the weekend…
