Archy Marshall, better known by his stage name King Krule has been turning heads since his 2013 debut, 6 Feet Beneath the Moon . This English singer / songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has gained attention for his gritty, deep voice and J Dilla inspired rhythms fused with a loose jazz sound reminiscent of late-era Tom Waits – a combination that’s surprising in juxtaposition with his innocent, freckled appearance. He doesn’t cross the pond to perform in the U.S. often, so don’t miss his set this weekend.
