5 Acts You Can’t Miss at Audio on the Bay


It seems that every year more and more electronic festivals happen over the holiday weekend. This Memorial Day Weekend, Audio on the Bay returns to the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond, California. This Bay Area Insomniac festival, which started in 2014, features talent such as Chris Lake, Flux Pavilion, and Excision. Keep reading for our top 5 acts you can’t miss this weekend.

 

CHRIS LAKE  

Chris Lake is a 33 year old Scottish producer / dj and label owner. He’s continuously topped the electronic music dance charts with his unique vibe when it comes to original tracks and remixes. Some of his recent hits include “Stranger” and “Stomper” featuring Anna Lunoe. Don’t miss his set this weekend.

FLUX PAVILION  

Dubstep alumni Flux Pavilion will definitely be a must see this weekend. Originally from the UK, Flux is no stranger to the festival circuit and has graced the stages of Coachella, EDC, and Glastonbury. One of his best known tracks, “I Can’t Stop” is a longtime favorite and his set is sure to impress.

DR. FRESCH  

Dr. Fresch first came on the Los Angeles EDM scene in 2009 and has since become a household name and regular on the festival circuit. He also has his own label, Prep School Recordings, and a regular mix series called “The Prescription”. Coining the term “future ghetto” his set will definitely keep you dancing.

EXCISION  

Kelowna native and Dubstep alumni, Excision, is currently touring his third stage show, Paradox. Audio on the Bay attendees are in for a treat during this set. More ambitious than his last stage, the Executioner, this setup boasts 150,000 watts of sound and a fully-custom stage. Be sure to catch these insane visuals and sound this weekend.

KEYS N KRATES  

Originally from Canada, this electronic music band came into the electronic music scene in 2008. Currently signed to Dim Mak Records and touring to promote their new EP “Midnight Mass”, Keys N Krates play a live show which consists of turntables, drums, and synthesizer / keyboard. Make sure to catch their energetic live show this weekend.
